The 46th GEF Council Meeting, the CSO Forum and the 5th GEF Assembly were held in Cancun, Mexico in May. Representatives of ACEF were invited to participate in the CSO Forum, and made a presentation entitled “Youth in Action to Reduce Carbon Footprint” at the sub-forum “Women and youth as the Important Partners of GEF” on 27th May. The speech focused on the introduction of the achievements of ACEF in carrying out the GEF Small Grants Programme and emphasized the role of youth in the Programme, which received positive responses from the participants.
