Bearing the mission of safeguarding the public’s environmental and health rights and interests, ACEF has launched the “Bloomberg Tobacco Control Project” with the support of the Bloomberg Philanthropies and the American Youth Tobacco-Free Movement. From the perspective of the environment, ACEF has carried out the advocacy of policies and regulations on smoking bans in public places and improved the existing tobacco control regulations in China; It carried out publicity and education on the harm of public smoking and passive smoking, spread knowledge on the harm of tobacco and environmental rights protection, and actively promoted China to effectively implement the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, boosting the legal construction of tobacco control in China.
