With the support of Reckitt Benckiser, the “Miyun Basin Water Source Protection Project” was launched in March 2021. The project aimed to explore a nature-based comprehensive environmental management model, so as to achieve the ultimate goals of improving the ecological environment of the reservoir basin, reducing the diffused pollution, reducing soil erosion, enhancing public awareness of water source protection and water conservation, providing sustainable and cleaner water to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and improving the livelihoods of residents in water source communities.
